The 2009 Nissan Frontier King Cab is a pleasure to drive, whether you're navigating city streets or bumpy country roads. It delighted reviewers with its better than expected fuel economy, spaciousness, and agility. The Frontier King Cab comes in four available trim styles, all with different drivetrain features. These include the SE, XE, LE, and Pro-4X. The 2009 Frontier King Cab is strong and powerful looking, with a body construction that is reminscent of its sibling, the Titan. The exterior and chassis elements that make it more convenient and refined include a removeable tailgate with lock, jewel-type halogen headlights, cargo area lights, rear-hinged rear doors, body-on-frame construction (welded ladder frame with full-length box section rails), tuned cab-to-frame mounts, high-strength steel body components, and body undercoating.
The interior is spacious, ergonomic, and comfortable. Newsday says, "gauges are clearly readable day or night, most controls are intuitive in their operation, and all are logically located where an experienced driver expects them to be," while Four Wheeler comments, "seats right up there with the Tacoma as the most supportive and comfortable chairs in the segment." The seating standard features include front bucket seats with a 4-way manual passenger's seat with a fold-flat seatback and rear, forward-facing jump seats.
