The 2009 Ford Fusion is a 4-door, 5-passenger family sedan, available in 7 trims, ranging from the I4 S to the V6 SEL AWD.
The S trim comes standardly equipped with a 2.3-liter, I4, 160-horsepower engine that effortlessly delivers an outstanding fuel economy of 20 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on the highway.
The next level up is the SE model, which comes fully equipped with all the great features of the S model, but with larger 17-inch wheels, a six-speaker stereo with Sirius Satellite Radio, and the option of upgrading the engine to the larger, more powerful 3.0-liter V6. Ford Sync 2.0 is also another optional feature of the SE model.
In the SEL model, the Sync 2.0 comes standard, along with the seven-color lighting system, leather seats and steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, automatic headlights, and keyless entry. With the shock absorber and coil spring mounted to two parallel wishbone-shaped arms, the system can be engineered to carefully control wheel motion throughout suspension travel, helping to keep chassis motion and body roll to a minimum.
