The 2010 Ford Escape is the small SUV with loads of power and endless amounts of performance. It has the best crash test ratings of any vehicle in its class, and includes over four new features that improve safety and reduce driver distractions on the road, including options like automatic parallel parking of the vehicle to aid drivers with such endeavors.

The power of this small SUV is unlike that of any other vehicle you've driven before. Depending on the specific trim, the all new Escape can operate with a horsepower ranges of 153-161. It can deliver a raging torque in the range of 153-161 pound-feet, as well. Even with such extensive amounts of power and engine capability, the all new Escape still manages to reap excellent fuel economy, with EPA estimates of 19-34 mpg in the city and 25-31 mpg on the highway.

The new Escape seats up to 5 passengers comfortably, and comes with 4 cup holders, a coat hook, AM/FM stereo/single CD/MP3 capable audio system, battery saver features, and more. On the exterior, it sports an integrated blind spot mirror, painted body color front and rear fascias, a lower grille, and more.

Driving the all new 2010 Escape has made for an experience that provides driver and passenger alike with a powerful sense of security and safety at all times. Dual storage driver and front passenger air bags, safety canopy air bags, and side air bags are all installed and ready to protect should the need arise. There is lighting in illuminated entry to the vehicle, keyless entry, a Personal Safety System, and head restraints, as well. The new Ford Escape also features MyKey™ teen-safety technology on XLT and above models, SYNC with real-time Traffic, Directions and Information, and even an optional Rear View Camera System. This is the first SUV throughout North America with Active Park Assist. Active Park Assist is a phenomenal feature and technological advancement for vehicles that utilizes an ultrasonic-based sensing system and Electric Power Asissted Steering (EPAS) to position the vehicle for parallel parking, calculate the perfect steering angle, and efficiently steer the vehicle into a parking spot.
