Two powerful engine options are available for the 2009 Doge Ram 1500 Crew Cab 4x4: a 4.7L V8 for 310 horsepower, or a mighty 5.7L HEMI V8 that delivers 390 horsepower and 407 pound feet of torque. The four-wheel drive Dodge Ram 1500 also features two available transfer cases: the NVG 243, for part-time four-wheel drive operation; and the NVG 246, which provides an on-demand four-wheel drive system.
The 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab 4x4 also features two new convenient features for the Dodge Ram 1500, the exterior RamBox cargo management system and the interior "store in the floor" bins. The RamBox system provides sturdy weatherproof, lockable, and illuminated storage on both sides of the cargo box, each with a capacity of 7.4 cubic feet. Maximize storage with the interior "store in the floor" bins, complete with removable liners that can make room for ten 12oz beverages and ice.
