2009 Cadillac DTS
Who Needs a DTS? People Who Don't Have Time to Worry about Little Details
The quick and sophisticated looking 2009 DTS is packed with all the modern conveniences that make driving a Cadillac safe and worthwhile. It doesn't just have great entertainment features; this sedan will really keep you on the road and riding smooth. Even if you have to drive in conditions that threaten to give your vehicle a beating, or you have to take a road that's a bit harsh, the 2009 DTS can handle it. It comes with equipment that takes the stress of driving away, like all-speed traction control, a maintenance-free battery, Stabiltrak with brake assist, front wheel drive, and 4-wheel antilock brakes. Each DTS has a 4.6L DOHC V8 engine and 4-speed, electronically controlled automatic transmission. Drivers will also appreciate the Magnasteer power steering, which reduces noise and column shake and adjusts steering effort and ratio according to the vehicle speed and steering angle. Plus, with the frame's integral construction and resistance to corrosion you can worry less about how your vehicle will react in an accident.
Accidents happen to even the best of drivers. Fortunately the DTS has plenty of air bags and safety features that come standard to help reduce their impact. Each DTS has dual stage frontal and side-impact driver and front passenger air bags. To help prevent head and neck injuries in side-impact collisions the DTS also has head curtain side impact air bags for the driver and front passenger and rear outboard seating positions. Drivers with young children might also appreciate the state-of-the-art Passenger Sensing System, which can automatically detect if a small child or car seat is in the front seat and stop the deployment of air bags for that seat. Other features that might help you prevent an accident or keep your car from being broken into include power programmable door locks, a rear window electric defogger, rear child security door locks, a theft deterrent system, and a tire pressure monitor.
Making your life less complicated is what Cadillac does best. Each new Cadillac DTS comes with Adaptive Remote Start, which allows you to start your car and presets from half a football field away. There's also the Remote Keyless Entry with panic button, trunk release and door locks to consider as well as the center console that has a storage bin, storage tray, dual cup holders, a coin holder and an armrest. Cruising the freeways will be easy with the electronic cruise control and your passengers will appreciate the rear LED illumination reading lights.
You won't want to stop to ask for directions with the three months of XM radio that come standard on each new DTS. Don't worry though, you won't need to ask for directions with the one year of free OnStar that comes with each new DTS.
