2009 Audi A4
The 2009 Audi A4 is an Enthusiast Up-Scale Sedan that Has Plenty to Offer Buyers Who Want a Mix of Fun, Classy, and Safe
The 2009 Audi A4 is the epitomy of cool. It comes with loads of sophisticated, dynamic performance features that really give it a race-track feel. Plus, the interior is more evolved, luxurious, and roomy than ever. Audis may be less well known then their foreign-made counterparts, but U.S. News Rankings and Reviews says, "The top of the upscale midsize class is crowded with excellent cars, but buyers would be foolish not to give this one a look." There are two available engine sizes, the 211 horsepower 2.0 liter and the 3.2 liter 265 hp.
The Audi A4's interior will allow you to enjoy the drive even more. "The glossy wood, creamy leather and bright alloy piping in the cabin would make the local yacht club commodore give up the sea," says the Los Angeles Times. Not only is it stylish, it also gives you an extra helping of comfort. The driver and front passenger will enjoy 8-way power front seats with four-way power lumbar adjustment and lockable head restraints. The seating surfaces are leather and the four-spoke leather steering wheel comes with multifunction controls that allow you to control the audio, volume, radio stations, CD tracks, navigation voice prompts, telephone dialing, and the voice control system. The rear outer seats also have adjustable head restraints for more comfort. The interior also includes features such as electronic cruise control with coast, resume, and acceleration features as well as MMI (Multi-Media Interface). The Multi-Media Interface includes a 6.5-inch color monitor and is located in the upper part of the center console in easy view.
The performance features on the 2009 Audi A4 make it the most popular kid on the track. For instance every A4 includes Dynamic Shift Program, which, according to Audi's website; "reduces the driver’s workload, particularly in stop-and-go traffic. DSP independently selects the optimum driving range. The transmission automatically recognizes the vehicle’s driving characteristics and adapts its shift strategy to the prevailing conditions. DSP-controlled transmissions are also very easy to maintain and, for example, do not need transmission oil changes." It's easy to understand why U.S. News Rankings and Reviews would comment, "On the track, it still offers handling close to what is usually found only on dedicated sports cars." Other great performance features include five-link front suspension with upper and lower control arms; a stabilizer bar; and separate coil springs/shock absorbers (gas-charged), fully-independent trapezoidal-link rear suspension with a stabilizer bar; and separate coil springs/shock absorbers (gas-charged), servotronic vehicle speed-sensitive power steering, an Audi valve lift system, 6-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission, and a fully galvanized steel unibody with multi-step anti-corrosion protection.
You can't really take in the new A4's tasteful exterior styling unless you see it in person. We could go on and on about its upswept lower-body contour and taut shut lines, but we'll suffice it to say that the new A4 doesn't dissapoint when it comes to curb appeal. Hot exterior features that come standard on every trim include heated and power adjustable exterior mirrors, a glass sunroof, and front fog lights.
